Winchendon Senior Center to host Medicare info session Nov. 13

The Town of Winchendon announced a Medicare information session with Gail Noel of the SHINE Program on Friday, Nov. 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Winchendon Senior Center dining room.

The session will cover current changes to Medicare, important updates, and the steps beneficiaries need to take to review their coverage and navigate Medicare processes. SHINE is a Massachusetts program that provides health insurance information and counseling.

Residents can attend in person or by Zoom. Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPs are encouraged. People can RSVP online, join the session on Zoom or call the Senior Center at 978-297-3155, ext. 3, to RSVP.

The town said the session is meant to provide general Medicare information and answer common questions. It is not intended for individual Medicare counseling or one-on-one appointments. Anyone who wants personalized help or wants to schedule an individual SHINE appointment can call the Winchendon Senior Center at 978-297-3155.
