The Town of Winchendon released its September monthly bulletin on Oct. 14, highlighting recent events and upcoming opportunities for residents to get involved.

Town Manager Bill McKinney said the town "had such a great Fall Fest 2026" and noted additional events are scheduled this season at the Robinson Broadhurst Performing Arts Center at Ingleside.

The town announced it will hold its semi-annual Department Head Meeting on Monday, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. The meeting is open to all residents and offers a chance to hear updates from across town, meet department heads and ask questions. Residents unable to attend in person will be able to watch a recording afterward.

The bulletin also encourages residents to complete the Community Health Equity Survey by Oct. 31. McKinney said the goal is to hear from at least 300 Winchendon residents, and the town is already halfway to that goal.
