Winchendon Rolls Out New Community Open Mic and Picnic in Park
WINCHENDON — Winchendon's Parks and Recreation calendar shows a new Free Community Open Mic and Picnic in the Park set for Friday, Aug. 28, giving residents a fresh gathering to close out the week, alongside a run of new library and community programs starting Monday, Aug. 31.

Early voting for the September primary continues through Thursday, Aug. 27, according to the town's event calendar, leaving residents two more days to cast a ballot before the window closes. The town's Communications Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, Aug. 31.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
A new Free Community Open Mic and Picnic in the Park is set for Friday, Aug. 28, according to the town calendar, offering residents a chance to perform or simply gather outdoors as summer winds down. Thursday, Aug. 27 also brings Bingo at the Hub, part of the town's regular community programming lineup.
Winchendon Public Library will host Storytime on both Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29. Two new Monday offerings arrive Aug. 31: Lego Club, a hands-on building program, and a yoga class led by instructor Chantal of Shadow Alchemy Wellness, marking a new addition to the town's activity schedule.
