Winchendon Posts Unofficial Results From Tuesday's State Primary
Winchendon's Town Clerk posted unofficial results from Tuesday's state primary early Wednesday morning, marking the town's first official update since voters headed to the polls a day earlier. The office also issued a call for a new volunteer to join the town's Economic Development Task Force.

The Town Clerk's office published unofficial results from Tuesday's state primary in two separate News Flash postings just after 1 a.m. Wednesday. Neither posting included vote totals, precinct breakdowns or candidate-by-candidate figures in the alert text itself; the office pointed residents to a linked results document on the town website for the full count.
Separately, the town put out a News Flash notice Tuesday afternoon seeking a new volunteer to serve on the Economic Development Task Force. The notice did not specify how many seats are open or a deadline to apply; residents interested in serving can reach out to Town Hall for details.

The Winchendon School Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, Sept. 3, according to the town's public meeting calendar.
