WINCHENDON -- With summer now in full swing, Winchendon residents have a string of community gatherings, library programs, and a major outdoor festival to look forward to over the next several days.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
Beals Memorial Library kicks off Thursday with two crowd-pleasers: a Buttermaking for Kids program and the ongoing Summer Reading Club. Also on Thursday, the CFCE Preschool Playgroup meets, and the evening rounds out with a Community Game Night, a free drop-in social event open to all ages.
Friday brings Storytime at the Library along with another Summer Reading Club session. That evening, Parks & Recreation hosts a Free Community Open Mic & Picnic in the Park, a no-cost outdoor event pairing live amateur performances with a casual summer picnic setting.
