Task Force approves business survey, launches outreach

Winchendon Economic Development Task Force approves business survey initiative. The committee voted 5-0 to approve a survey created by member Erika Eitland, on a motion by Chair Andrew Beauvais, to gather feedback from the local business community to inform future economic development and policy decisions. The task force will distribute the survey starting March 17, 2026, through multiple channels including an official email address, in-person visits, and the new "Why Not Winchendon" website and Facebook page.
The task force is also working to build a business contact database using the Courier, permitting records, and licensing data.
