Winchendon School Committee unanimously approves Title IX policy at January meeting. Superintendent Charlotte King presented survey results showing gains in graduation rates and early-grade literacy but persistent concerns about MCAS proficiency, low SAT scores, student sense of belonging, and bullying. Director of Special Education Kelsey Garcia reported the new WISH program now provides social-emotional support to students across general and special education, while the district continues to focus on improving fourth- and eighth-grade performance.
