Winchendon School Committee approves $21.5M FY27 budget and renews business manager contract. Chair Mike Barbaro and the committee unanimously backed the operating budget with a General Fund of $18,667,547 and total projected operations of $21,525,206, which Superintendent Charlotte King said maintains level service while adjusting staffing based on enrollment shifts. The committee also unanimously approved the renewal of Business Manager Liz Latoria's contract, with member Greg Vine noting his satisfaction with her continued service.
The district reported highest enrollment decline at the high school level and plans to explore regionalization options.
