WINCHENDON — The Winchendon Redevelopment Authority unanimously approved a $4,000 matching grant payment. Members voted 5-0 to authorize the Town of Winchendon/EDTF Revolving Account payment of $4,000, covering the Authority's required 25 percent local match for a $16,000 state grant for bike path improvements, as reported by Chairman Leston Goodrich. In separate business, the Authority received updates on Hillview Business Park development, including developer Fred Massa's report of prospective buyer interest from the Netherlands in purchasing all four lots for commercial and cannabis uses.
Together, the $16,000 state grant and the $4,000 local match provide full funding for bike path improvements.
