Parks Commission reviews spring events and plans summer programming

Winchendon Parks Commission plans seasonal events amid routine updates. The Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed recent event programming, including Taste of Winchendon and Stratton Players' The Princess Bride, and moved forward with planning for Montapalooza on May 30 and June's history-themed Wandering Wednesdays. Event merchandise has arrived and ticket booth construction planning is underway.
Lynn Murray is scheduled for appointment to the Commission pending Board of Selectmen approval on June 8.
