Parks Commission Confirms Spring Events, Rebranding Project

WINCHENDON — Parks Commission confirms spring events, notes membership update. The Winchendon Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously approved minutes from January 20 at its February 3 meeting. Donna O'Connor is on the agenda for the Board of Selectmen on February 9 for appointment to the commission.
Coordinator Shaina Cunningham reported on revenue initiatives including sponsorship outreach and park rental strategy. The commission confirmed spring events: Karaoke (February 6), Murder Mystery (February 7), Crafternoons (February 28), and Comedy Night (March 21). The department is collaborating with Erika Eitiand on rebranding Winchendon Community Park with new signage and logo design.
