Parks board approves rental fee increase, launches concert series

WINCHENDON — Parks Commission approves new rental fee structure and free concert series. Chair Deb Kane and the Winchendon Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously voted to set ticketed event daily rental rates at $2,700 or 10 percent of gross receipts, whichever is higher, with a $6,000 per day maximum. The commission also unanimously approved launching Friday Night Frequencies, a free indoor concert series at the HUB running through April, and voted unanimously to add Monday night bingo to the calendar at the Senior Center.
