Parks and Recreation Commission approves drama program funding

Winchendon Parks Commission approves $850 drama program and conference attendance funding. The Parks and Recreation Commission voted to allocate the funds to support a drama program in collaboration with Creative Spaces 4 Art, with Gloria Wirtz and her daughter Jennifer Townsend as program proponents. The commission also approved membership fees for the Massachusetts Parks and Recreation Association conference and scheduled a Murder Mystery event for May 2 at Old Murdock Senior Center.

Due to low attendance, the commission voted to cancel the upcoming Karaoke event.
