Parks and Rec approves Nature Detectives program exploration

WINCHENDON — Parks and Recreation Commission approves Nature Detectives summer program. The Winchendon board unanimously approved Dylan Romanowski's motion to pursue a nature-based summer group contingent on park availability. The commission also unanimously approved purchasing season passes with lanyards, a proposal by Sharon Larochelle.
Recent events delivered strong community turnout: the Easter Egg Hunt attracted more than 500 attendees, while the Comedy Night sold out all tickets. The board is coordinating a spring parks cleanup with the Board of Health's May 2 Earth Day event.
