Just Two of 11 Winchendon Deeds Disclose a Sale Price in August
Winchendon recorded 11 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only two deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $15,000 to $210,000 with a median of $112,500. The month's highest disclosed transaction was a $210,000 sale recorded Aug. 5, though the deed did not list a street address; sellers Kaitlyn and Tyler Newton transferred the property to buyer John Bednarczyk. Two streets, Lincoln Avenue and Doyle Avenue, each saw two recorded deeds during the period. With price information available for barely a fifth of the month's transfers, the underlying records offer limited visibility into where Winchendon's housing market actually stood.
