Historical Commission secures new office space, plans office hours

WINCHENDON — Historical Commission secures Board of Health office space, launches public office hours. Chairwoman Mary Harrington announced the commission has secured office space in the Board of Health building and will begin office hours in May. Member Janell Sroczynski noted the commission received a small budget increase for fiscal year 2027.

Five members unanimously approved prior meeting minutes at the April 14 remote session. Harrington has invited resident Bill Stone to present findings from metal detector discoveries around town.
