Historic Commission seeks additional office space and budget

WINCHENDON — The Winchendon Historic Commission requested office space and additional budget during its February 5 meeting. Chair Mary Harrington and Member Janell Sroczynski met with Town Manager McKinney to pursue office space within Town Hall. The commission reviewed ongoing improvements at 179 Front Street and the former Poland and Streeter Schools MVOC site, with Member James McCrohon reviewing plans for both locations.
Member Guy Corbosiero highlighted a Central Massachusetts Heritage Subgrant Program offering $616,000 in available funding, pending guideline finalization.
