WINCHENDON — Finance Committee hears FY25 close update and discusses tax bill spike. Accountant Anna Noyes reported fiscal 2025 books closing by month's end with no department-spending concerns, while Treasurer Katie Medina and Town Manager Bill McKinney attributed the recent jump in real estate tax bills to higher property assessments under the $1.9 million override. A tri-board meeting is scheduled for February 5 to discuss the MSBA school construction proposal.
