Winchendon Economic Development Task Force hears state agency presentations, explores Christmas ornament program. Chair Andrew Beauvais provided updates on the Glenallen Mill project, with a site visit scheduled for March 28 to discuss next steps involving State Representative Jon Ziotnik and the Worcester Business Development Corporation. The task force heard presentations from MassDevelopment and the Massachusetts Office of Business Development on available financing tools and business development resources.

The group discussed a potential revolving fund to generate and reinvest revenue for future economic development initiatives, and a resident feedback survey on a Toy Town Christmas ornament program neared completion. The next meeting is scheduled for April 8 at 5:30 PM.
