Charter Committee tables January minutes over alleged legal violations

Winchendon Charter and Bylaw Review Committee approves prior minutes, tables latest record over violations. The committee unanimously approved its December 17, 2025 minutes but tabled January 21, 2026 minutes following objections from members Marc Dorwart and Karen Kast-McBride regarding an alleged HIPAA violation, an Open Meeting Law concern, and procedural issues including subjective language and misspellings in the record. The committee discussed charter article revisions and assigned Michael Gaynor and Tiffany Newton to complete additional bylaw reviews.
The committee voted to remove Article 8 entirely from the charter.
