Board of Health approves new fee schedule and restaurant permits

Winchendon Board of Health adopts sweeping revision to municipal permit fee schedule. The board voted unanimously to approve the revised charges, ranging from $25 for chemical toilets to $325 for new septic construction, with the schedule developed by board member Paula Whitaker and presented by Yvonne Senecal. The board also unanimously approved nine food establishment permits and a special variance for Koi Asian Cuisine to adjust sushi rice pH levels for storage outside refrigeration.
The revised schedule is scheduled for Board of Selectmen review.
