Authority approves Rail Trail grant match for bike path

Winchendon Redevelopment Authority unanimously authorizes $4,000 local match for Rail Trail grant. Chair Leston Goodrich and members Mike Barbaro and Garrett Wante voted 3-0 to approve the 20 percent match for a Rail Trail grant application funding trash and recycling containers on the YMCA to Glenallen Street bike path. Andrew Beauvais of the Economic Development Task Force requested the funds for two units totaling $4,800.
The Authority noted the town's recent success securing Rail Trail grants.
